Intro / Tagline Here
Precancerous lesions known as actinic keratoses occur on sun exposed skin as persistent rough patches or bumps. Because these lesions can evolve into squamous cell carcinoma, it is important to treat them at an early stage. Treatment options include office treatments such as cryosurgery in which a cold spray is applied to freeze the lesion, photodynamic therapy, and laser treatments such as Fraxel (re:store dual)™. Treatments can be performed on the face or body and can improve the appearance, as well as the health of the skin.
Sun exposure can also result in premature aging of the skin, which can often be improved with appropriate treatment. Here is an example of facial skin resurfacing with the Fraxel Repair laser to treat premature aging of skin resulting from sun exposure.
