What is SkinVive?

SkinVive, a new product from Allergan Aesthetics, is the first and only hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable for improving cheek skin smoothness. It contains hyaluronic acid (HA), which assists the skin in retaining its natural moisture levels. This boost in your skin’s internal hydration results in an improvement in the skin smoothness of the cheeks and a youthful glow.

Why Choose UnionDerm for SkinVive?

UnionDerm is one of the first practices in NYC to offer this new microdroplet treatment. SkinVive is precisely injected into multiple areas of the cheek and UnionDerm board-certified dermatologists are all highly trained in this method of injecting.  UnionDerm physicians have been at the forefront of Botox and dermal fillers for the past decade and are now leaders in the treatment of SkinVive.

Who is a Candidate for SkinVive?

Healthy adults 21 years and older who wish to improve the skin smoothness of their cheeks can benefit from SkinVive. However, individuals who are pregnant or nursing should wait to undergo this treatment. To determine candidacy, please contact our practice today to schedule a consultation.

What Can I Expect from a SkinVive Treatment?

SkinVive is injected beneath the skin at various very small injection points. To begin your SkinVive treatment, your skin will be cleansed. Your dermatologist will then skillfully inject SkinVive into the predetermined areas. Treatment is quick and easy.

There is no downtime required following SkinVive treatments. Mild redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness may temporarily occur following treatment. It is advised that patients minimize strenuous exercise, alcoholic beverages, and exposure to extensive heat within the first 24 hours for optimal results. Results can last up to six months with optimal treatment.
