Our Union Square Office

UnionDerm Union Square occupies a state-of-the-art 9,000 square foot full-floor facility in a landmark building at the center of Union Square. The stylish, loft-like space was designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural firm Studio a+i and features Cassina and Cappellini Italian furniture throughout. Every detail of the environment has been considered, creating an atmosphere that is sophisticated, welcoming, and unlike anything typically associated with a medical office. Patients consistently remark on the beauty of the space, which sets the tone for the exceptional level of care they receive throughout their visit. Mohs Surgery

UnionDerm Union Square offers Mohs surgery as a highly effective treatment for skin cancer. Performed under local anesthesia, the procedure involves the careful removal of the visible tumor along with a thin surrounding margin of tissue, which is then examined under a microscope for any remaining cancer cells. This process is repeated layer by layer until the tissue is confirmed to be free of cancer. Mohs surgery provides one of the highest cure rates of any available skin cancer treatment while preserving the greatest possible amount of healthy surrounding skin.
