What is Ellacor?

Ellacor is an FDA-approved, first-of-its-kind device that significantly tightens and smoothes moderate to severe wrinkles and sagging skin on the cheeks, jaw, and jowls through innovative micro-coring technology.

What can I expect from Ellacor?

Ellacor uses hollow needles to remove micro-cores of skin, resulting in an improved appearance of moderate and severe wrinkles in the mid and lower face without the risk of scarring. What is Morpheus8?: 

Morephus8 is a minimally invasive, deep fractional skin treatment that combines microneedling with radio frequency. This combination stimulates collagen production by penetrating deeply into and heating layers of dermis, triggering collagen production for tighter, smoother skin on both the face and body. The device’s modular tips allow the treatment to target areas large and small with minimal risk of hyperpigmentation. The device targets the deflation of soft tissue, including the jowls, as well as fine lines, cellulite, stretch marks, and acne scars. 

What can I expect with Morpheus8?:

Typically, Morpheus8 results in little discomfort and downtime. During the treatment, the applicator passes over the skin of the affected area and penetrates the subdermal tissue, targeting areas of laxity or soft tissue. The device coagulates fat and contracts connective tissue to tighten and correct lines, marks, and wrinkles on the treated area.

What is EndyMed Intensif RF?: 

The EndyMed Intensif RF Microneedle system combines microneedling and radio frequency technology to reach deeper layers of skin and improve overall skin texture. The highly precise treatment transmits heat into the skin to trigger a healing response, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles, acne, and scarring for all skin types.

What can I expect with EndyMed Intensif RF?:

EndyMed Intensif RF is minimally invasive and requires little downtime. The treatment differs from traditional microneedling in a few ways: EndyMed Intensif’s gold-plated tapered microneedles require fewer passes over the skin’s surface, meaning a shorter session time, and the microneedles are much smaller, resulting in minimal discomfort.

During the treatment, the tool glides smoothly over the skin and penetrates to deeper layers of dermis for optimal collagen production. The treatment creates microscopic punctures in the skin, which leads to a healing response. The punctures aren’t typically visible, so patients can resume most normal activity, though some dryness or peeling is expected.

Though results may be visible within weeks, patients should schedule a series of treatments to see optimal effects.

What is Protégé Elite?: 

Protégé Elite is a painless and effective facial contouring and skin tightening treatment. The device’s next-generation radio frequency tightens existing collagen and stimulates the production of new collagen to improve skin laxity. Protégé Elite is useful for patients with visible signs of aging on both the face and body, including fine lines or wrinkles, sagging skin, or uneven texture.

What can I expect with Protégé Elite?:

The procedure feels like a warm massage as the energy wand waves over the affected area in a circular application pattern. Protégé Elite is appropriate as a first-time skin tightening treatment or for patients wanting to maintain or improve the results of previous skin tightening procedures, including Thermage and Ultherapy. Protégé Elite typically requires a series of a few sessions approximately as a first-time treatment. For patients using Protégé Elite as a maintenance treatment, plan to have around two sessions every six months following Thermage or Ultherapy to continue building collagen and maintain skin tightening.

What is Secret RF?: 

Secret RF is a novel fractional radio frequency (RF) microneedling treatment designed to stimulate and remodel collagen. The treatment uses microneedles to deliver radio frequency energy into varying levels of the skin, including the deeper layers of dermis. The intensity of the device can be tailored to treat the skin at various depths or to suit different patients’ needs, including diminishing the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, sun spots, scars, and stretch marks.

What can I expect with Secret RF?:

This minimally invasive treatment typically requires little to no downtime. During the treatment itself, the Secret RF tool glides smoothly over the affected area. Patients may feel a warm sensation as the device penetrates the skin. The treatment creates microscopic punctures in the skin, which leads to a healing response. The punctures aren’t typically visible, so patients can resume most normal activity, though some dryness or peeling is expected.

Patients may see results weeks after a single treatment, but to achieve optimal results, try a series of three treatments. As with other microneedling procedures, patients may experience redness, dryness, or swelling after Secret RF.

What is Sofwave?: 

Sofwave is a non-invasive ultrasound device that stimulates collagen production in the dermis to tighten and correct excess skin laxity.

The gentle integrated cooling technique insures no damage to the epidermis or to the underlying structures beneath the dermis. Not only is Sofwave safe for all skin tones and types, but also, the treatment is clinically proven to remodel collagen, improve facial lines, reduce wrinkles, and lift lax or loose skin.

What can I expect with Sofwave?:

Sofwave uses Proprietary Intense Ultrasound Beam Technology™ (IUB) to pass sound wave energy through the skin’s surface. Seven high-frequency ultrasound beams propagate through the tissue to increase and regenerate collagen. This procedure tightens lax skin and improves the appearance of wrinkles, and in a study, 86% of subjects demonstrated improvement in wrinkle appearance. What is Thermage?: 
Thermage is a non-invasive radio frequency treatment that stimulates collagen production to improve skin laxity for a naturally younger appearance. The device safely applies heat to deep, collagen-rich layers of skin, which causes contractions. This triggers a healing response, which produces increased collagen stimulation. Thermage treatment can reduce signs of aging and tighten skin in the jowls, cheeks, neck, buttocks, extremities, abdomen, eye lids, hands, and abdomen.

What can I expect with Thermage?:

Thermage is a painless treatment and results in minimal downtime. During the treatment, the physician presses the handheld device onto the affected area. Patients may feel a brief heating sensation immediately followed by a cooling sensation as the adapter touches the skin. These temperature changes indicate the dermis is reacting to the tool’s heating properties.

The primary result of Thermage is tighter, more youthful-looking skin. Changes may be visible within days or weeks after treatment, and will typically continue to improve up to six months after treatment.

What is ThermiSmooth?: 

ThermiSmooth^® Face is a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment that smoothes fine lines, wrinkles, or sagging skin on the face. This treatment targets and heats facial tissue to create a healing response and stimulate improved collagen production. The increase in collagen leads to tighter, firmer skin.

What can I expect with ThermiSmooth?:

Thermismooth is most often used on the face, including the cheeks, mouth, or eye area. The device is safe for all skin types or tones, and doesn’t commonly carry the risk of hyperpigmentation or scarring.

During Thermismooth, the physician will gently roll the hand piece in small, circular motions on the surface of the skin, heating targeted tissues below your skin. Patients often say the treatment feels like a warm massage. The device’s gentle heat, which uses temperature controlled radiofrequency energy, stimulates collagen remodeling below the surface. The treatment is painless and requires minimal downtime.

Thermismooth predominantly tightens and smoothes the skin, so the treatment also works effectively when paired with other devices, including dermal filler or skin resurfacing.

What is Ultherapy®?: 

Ultherapy® is a system manufactured by Ulthera, Inc. that uses micro-focused ultrasound to tighten and lift skin. Ultherapy produces an image of the skin and underlying connective tissue so the physician can deliver targeted energy under the surface of the skin with the optimal depth, temperature and precision necessary to generate new collagen and to tighten and lift the skin.

What can I expect with Ultherapy®?:

Ultherapy stimulates collagen generation and tightens the connective tissue at a deeper level than other non-surgical treatments. This can result in higher eyebrows, a tighter jaw line, and smoother neck. Recent evidence shows efficacy for skin tightening in additional treatment sites such as the chest, abdomen, arms and knees.

Ultherapy received FDA approval in 2009 and is the only non-invasive procedure approved in the U.S. to lift skin on the lower face, neck and brow. Dr. Chapas, Dr. MacGregor, Dr. Chwalek, and Dr. Gmyrek have several years of experience with Ultherapy, and Dr. MacGregor was part of the clinical trials that led to FDA approval and is considered an international authority on Ultherapy. We were one of the first practices to offer the latest upgraded Ultherapy® system, which offers better results and improved patient comfort.

We have extensive experience with pain management for Ultherapy and are able to offer the highest possible level of patient comfort without compromising the procedure’s effectiveness. What are NovaThreads?: 

NovaThreads are synthetic, absorbable surgical sutures composed of polydioxanone. The body absorbs these fine suture threads anywhere from four to six months after insertion. Over time, the threads stimulate a healing response for increased collagen production. This new collagen leads to the creation of new structures in the skin for a lifted, tightened effect. The new new “structure” or frame holds for another 12 to 15 months. These sutures are optimal for the face, brow, neck, and jawline with no surgery and minimal discomfort. You can pair NovaThreads with injectables and/or the Silhoutte InstaLift.

What can I expect with NovaThreads?:

During the procedure, the physician threads the sutures beneath the skin, using the string-like devices to pull the skin tight around the affected area. Depending on the thread, the treatment may use “barbs” to grab onto or adhere to the skin, gripping or pulling your underlying tissue and muscles. This insertion triggers a natural healing response, which stimulates collagen production to lift, tighten, or fill lax gaps in sagging skin and restore a more youthful elasticity to the area.

Results may last up to a year. Patients should keep in mind that the skin continues to age with time, which causes a natural decrease in collagen and affects results. You can maintain optimal NovaThreads results with proper at-home skincare and follow-up treatments.
