JAMESON LOYAL, M.D.

Jameson T. Loyal, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained laser and cosmetic dermatologic surgeon who specializes in laser resurfacing, injectables, skin tightening, and hair restoration. His approach centers on consistent, thoughtfully planned care that helps patients look refreshed and authentically themselves year after year.

Dr. Loyal creates an individualized Aesthetic Longevity Plan for each patient, based on their anatomy, lifestyle, priorities, and expectations, that supports both short- and long-term goals. He is an expert in injectables, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and biostimulatory injectables. His approach to facial sculpting centers on preserving facial harmony and enhancing each patient’s natural features so that results never look overdone. He also specializes in non-invasive skin tightening with ultrasound and radio-frequency devices, and he frequently combines injectables with laser and energy-based treatments in a single session to stimulate collagen and rejuvenate every layer of the skin.

Dr. Loyal has advanced training across the full range of laser, light, and energy-based devices. He is particularly known for laser stacking, a technique in which he layers several carefully selected technologies in one session to treat sun damage, discoloration, uneven texture, wrinkles, and laxity. Patients travel from across the country and abroad for these procedures

Dr. Loyal has served as an investigator in more than 50 clinical trials with leading pharmaceutical, medical device, and aesthetic companies, contributing to new technologies, treatment protocols, and FDA approvals. He consults for industry leaders, publishes in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, and speaks regularly at national and international scientific meetings.

A native New Yorker, Dr. Loyal graduated cum laude in mathematics from New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences as a Presidential Honors Scholar. He earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, where he also completed his internal medicine internship. He then completed his dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where he served as Cosmetic Dermatology Chief Resident. He went on to complete an ASDS-accredited fellowship in laser and cosmetic dermatologic surgery at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in La Jolla, California, and joined that practice before returning to New York. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor Rising Star, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Outside the office, Dr. Loyal is an avid traveler and food lover who is always ready with a restaurant recommendation, and he has been flying airplanes since high school.

APPOINTMENT DEPOSITS:
The deposit to hold most appointments is $200. Certain longer procedures, such as Ultherapy, require a larger deposit. If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice you can have the deposit either remain as a credit in your account or fully refunded in your method of payment. These payments are processed securely by Stripe and we do not see or keep your credit card information.

NEW PATIENTS:
The fee for a new patient cosmetic consultation is $400, which Dr. Loyal applies towards your treatment. During your cosmetic consultation, Dr. Loyal evaluates your concerns, answers your questions and devises a treatment plan to fit your goals. These are thorough consultations that can last up to 30 minutes.
