Yunyoung Claire Chang, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist completing an ASDS-accredited Cosmetic Dermatology Fellowship at Union Square Laser Dermatology.
Dr. Chang received her B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.D. from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating from medical school, she completed her internal medicine training at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and subsequently completed a prestigious three-year dermatology residency at Boston University.
Dr. Chang has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, and the British Journal of Dermatology, and has presented her research at several local and national dermatology meetings. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Chang draws on her dermatologic medical knowledge, her extensive cosmetic training, and her research background to offer the best care for her patients. She has a particular interest in optimizing the use of cosmetic devices and techniques to address dermatologic concerns for skin of color. In addition to English, Dr. Chang is fluent in Korean and Spanish.
