The HydraFacial is one of our newest aesthetic skin care treatments. It is a unique, multi-step facial treatment that works to cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate the skin, thus improving skin tone and texture and resulting in clearer, healthier-looking skin. The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes and is typically very well tolerated with no downtime.
The HydraFacial combines proven techniques to exfoliate dead skin and extract unwanted dirt and oil, while simultaneously replenishing vital moisture and antioxidants. It is nonirritating, and many patients observe noticeable results including smoother skin, reduced pore size, and improved elasticity. Moreover, the treatment can be tailored to a patient’s individual needs with the addition of special serums to address a variety of skin concerns.
How does it work?
The HydraFacial treatment utilizes a four-step process to gently resurface and revitalize the skin:
• Step 1: Cleanses and exfoliates the skin, removing dead skin cells and oils
• Step 2: Applies gentle salicylic and glycolic acids to loosen dirt and debris
• Step 3: Extracts deeply embedded impurities, including black heads
• Step 4: Delivers antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid to replenish and nourish the skin
How long does it take?
The standard treatment takes about 30 minutes. Optional “boosts” or customized serums at the end of the treatment may require additional time.
Can the treatment be performed on all skin types?
The HydraFacial is designed for all skin types and all sensitivities and it is a great option for both women and men. If you have specific questions or concerns about how your skin may respond to HydraFacial, simply let our team know and they will work to customize the treatment to your specific needs.
Is there any pain or downtime?
While everyone responds to skincare treatments differently there is typically no discomfort, and no downtime associated with the HydraFacial. You can apply makeup and return to normal activities right after the procedure.
How many treatments will I need?
There is no set recommendation as the optimal number depends upon each patient’s individual needs and goals. In addition, the HydraFacial is a great treatment for ongoing, regular skincare maintenance; having the HydraFacial once a month is a good baseline to see continued results and preserve healthy, vibrant skin.
